How Do O Read Voting Score?

Can Someone explain the scoring system here?

Hi all, have my first story posted and wondering if anyone can explain the voting system to me. Have watched for the last few days, and when the number of votes go up, the rating drops. Then it goes up again with a few more votes. I just can't understand what it all means.

Also notice in the "Top Story" votes they have similar rating, but really low votes?????

As of today I seem to have 4.54 rating, 200 votes, and about 54,000 views. Now I know that does not mean they all read my stories, shit, even I dont read every one I open, but what does this mean?

Would really appreciate someone explaining all this too me, and just to give incentive, I will post a pic of my young and sexy Asian wife. But am not sure if it has worked, so also need help with that.
The story I wrote is called "Mother-in-law pays for all her pranks" and is in the Mature section. Would have put in the link, but not sure yet how to do that. Would appreciate someone explaining all that some time if you don't mind.

Hi, Teacher, and welcome to Lit. Since I really like pics of sexy, young Asian women, I will try to answer your questions.

Every vote cast is from one to five. They are totaled and the total is divided by the number of votes to get the average vote, and that is your score. Your score of 4.54 is very good because it means that most people who voted gave you a five, the highest score possible.

I don't Know why, but it seems like the stories have their highest ratings when they are new. After that, some undesirable persons, commonly referred to as "trolls" come along and vindictively cast votes of one, commonly known as "one-bombs" in order to knock the average down. After the trolls have completed their dirty work, people vote honestly and the story attains its proper place.

I must add also, that I am amazed that your story should still be new and have 54,000 views and 200 votes. The Mature category is not a particularly popular one and you are too new to have a big fan base. You may have one later but not yet. None of my stories, even the ones that have been around for 18 months or more, have that many votes and most have fewer than 54,000 views.

Thanks for explaining that for me. As for the high numbers for my story, I can only guess maybe it is something to do with word of mouth as I had been posting on another site and have about 8 stories over there. Have 4 pending here at the moment and they should start appearing any time now.

Have so far had 9 posted feedbacks, but one was a duplicate, so deleted that one. Also got a few e-mails posted back with some nice words. As for the number or "Views" that blew my mind away as I did not realise there was such a following of that size and even if only 1% of views were reads, then that is still a big number.

Sorry for no pic post but am on the wrong computer so will have to do that in the next reply, plus I have not checked the rules on just how "dirty" they can be LOL.

Hi, Teacher.
If you are wondering how "dirty" the pics can be, take a look at a thread called "Nipples", located in the Story Feedback forum. Those pics are okay as are some others here and there. There may be some limits, such as underage sex or beastiality, such as the limits on stories, but almost anything goes otherwise.

Since the pics are incidental to the thread, this is the right forum. You can also post them and any more you want in the Pic Feedback. There are very few restrictions or limitations here.

Thanks Jessica, yes it certainly gives a person a warm feeling when they see the number of views for their story. I have been posting stories on another site but you never know if anyone has read them unless they send feedback, here on LIT the first thing I do is check to see how the views are going. It is like Xmas morning every day when you see the numbers going up higher.
