save my PMs someplace else? I have several hot PMs that I would like to keep and reread, but I need to free up my inbox, it keeps getting filled. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Can't you just copy and paste them into a text document?

At the bottom of your inbox, there are links to download all of your messages into a text document (notepad, which then makes it easy to copy and paste into something else), CSV (uses Excel), or XML file. Once you've downloaded and are satisfied that everything's working, you can delete the PMs in your inbox and sent folders.

One thing I do to keep everything under control is uncheck the 'save to sent folder' before sending most PMs. So, check your sent folder to see if there's anything in there you can delete, and consider not saving your responses in the future since they're often saved in a quote box in the person's reply anyway.

wow....did not realize this thread had gotten more replies....if it is not you, 69...there are so many others....

I am working my way through as we speak...

I just need to take more of the hot stories and the really sexy PMs and move them to make room...usually empty about 50 at a time...really need to just clear the whole thing at once.

There's competition for everyone who appears to be a female. There's a lot for those who post any kind of pics, and more if those pics hint at semi-attractiveness. It's an overwhelming amount for women who give the impression they will send more pics, have a webcam, cyber, phone or are interested in any type of RL encounter.

The odds are really against men who give the impression they are whiny, self-centered, out of touch with reality and/or negative in any way.

Oooh thanx for answering that question! I've been here for over two years and couldn't think of any other way of saving them other than one at a time or cutting and pasting. I never saw that thing at the bottom!

This is less for Serene and more for anyone who might search for this thread in the future (like I did a little while ago).

After a loong hunt, this is the best program I've found for viewing downloaded XML files.

You can 'Save all messages' and it will divide them up into sent and recieved PMs and list them.
