How do I sort authors' submissions by date?

Having discovered a story I like, I often want to try others by the same author. By clicking on the author's name, I am taken to his home page, where I can click on the author's submission list.

There are good reasons to read the stories in order submitted: Authors frequently have continuing characters and/or interrelated plot lines. Also, the author's style may develop over time. I found it tedious to try to read the stories in order by determining the oldest unread story, so I copied the whole list into Microsoft XL and sorted the stories by date.

This works well, but means one must have a spreadsheet program and know how to use it. It would be great if one could click on the date column of the submissions page for an author, and have the list sorted by date. Is there an easier way to sort the stories than using a spreadsheet program? Thanks in advance.

Uh, yeah, you can't. or you can't on Lit.

You could copy the list and dump them in a excel spreadsheet and then sort on that column.

Not everyone has a spreadsheet program, so that's a shame.
