How do I Share Reading Lists?

I have stuff in my favorites and a couple other reading lists I'd like to share with someone, but I can't find a mechanism for it. I see they can be set to public or private, so it follows that other people should be able to see them, but I can't figure it out. Help! :)

If they go to your profile and you have made your favorites public they will be able to see them there.

That's only for the one fixed "Favorites" list, though. Other than that, setting a list to "Public" does not seem to actually make it appear anywhere for someone else to see.... which kind of defeats the purpose.

Well the favorites list is public and everyone can see yours or anyone's.

The reading list is yours. Why would you want to share that? If you want to share your reading list, put them in favorites.

The user control panel lets you create additional lists that could be used to publish user-curated sets of stories selected by any criteria ("Great stories that botched the ending", "Harry Potter tentacle tickling stories", "List of my stories featuring character X"), as you can do with YouTube playlists for example. You can also set those to "public", but they don't show up anywhere for others.

Those are different in their meaning from Favorites or the to-be-read list, but would be just as interesting and useful.

I will bet there is something in the works to change how you profile looks as it does now. Why be able to add lists on the fly without them being visible to anyone. So the existing public profile will change to include those.
