How do I make my threads more popular?

Hi, I’d appreciate it if anyone could help me with this? I put quite a bit of thought into my threads but sometimes (despite people looking), I get zero comments. Today I started toe new threads that I was really excited about but have yet to get a single contribution. They’re on fake boobs and blondes sucking BBC - you’d expect that to popular. I mean I can’t be the only one be.
What advice would you give for me to make more of an impression and get a thread going?
Thanks for reading my post.

...you could offer a free set of Ginsu steak knives for every poster in your thread?

Honestly, everybody wants their threads to be popular. Some are just good friends with others so the stupidest ideas become gold, not because it's a good idea, but because they belong to a clique.

Beyond that, you are probably the hundredth person to come up with a "brilliant idea." Simply put, it's not the most creative thoughts that make a thread popular. However, if you truly think it's that good, then just keep posting until people start wandering in to see what the hubbub is all about.

you are aiming too high, wrap your right hand around existential nihilism for a flourish

A complete lack of interest usually means... a complete lack of interest. Pay attention to what people do and don't say, I reckon.

Those Ginsu knives are great!

Well my fake boobs appreciation thread sank like a stone (ironic). I really wish there was a place here to celebrate fake beauty and fake boobs. It’s so annoying. I know it’s off topic. Thanks for the comments and advice though.

It could be a few reasons

The most important part is naming the thread. You want to have something that will encourage participation. For example: "How would you describe this?" is better than "I don't know how to describe this."

The same thing goes for your own threads. What are you asking the rest of us?

"Are big fake boobs and black guys too cliche?" That's an interesting discussion and you'll hear from the folks who like fake boobs and black guys. You'll get opposition as well but that's okay. It'll draw more conversation.

Ask a question, don't make a statement. Try that and see how it works.

Good luck!

There is no shortage of boobs, (fake or otherwise), on this site, and being the case, it's like having too much candy. After a while, no matter how good it tastes, you get tired of it. If you want a popular thread, choose a topic that would be of common interest to most people, but has little information regarding the subject on this site, and create a question about it. The more controversial the topic, the more interest it usually generates; however, keeping in mind, you have to stay within the web sites guide lines.

The best questions are those that people struggle with themselves.

perhaps just take a minimalist approach - get right to the essence of your fetish...

Thanks for all the advice and the suggestions. I really liked this comment. I just don’t know how to word it exactly but I think it would be a fun thread to post. Can someone help me with this? I’d vote for the one on the left btw.

Ask NightL's permission to use the photo, and start a Poll Thread asking which shape members like best.

No need for the PM AAnderssen, but since you asked I bestow on you full privileges to search the internet for images of breast implants.

I will offer some advice though, breast implants will at best only be a fleeting and superficial solution for longing of the heart. Be clear for your expectations as they may receive unexpected reaction.

Silicone doth not make the person.

The threads I take interest in are the ones that hit upon one of my kinks (CFNM, femdom and lately, cock-rings and cock-straps).

I get why they're popular, but not really into BBC/cuckold stuff.

I see tits as being like pizza, as in there's no such thing as bad pizza or bad tits; I like all shapes & sizes of tits except the super-doughy & floppy ones.

When I think of fake breasts, my first thought is about their potential health risks for women, so not really a turn on for me.

First, to what end?

The GB is a tough crowd, and all things considered you seem to be doing ok. Consider the audience and see if you can locate your threads in sub for a where they are likely to get traction.

You already seem to be doing a pretty decent job of Hosting your thread in the sense that you seem to respond well to each participant and you don't seem particularly thin-skinned.

The idea of having "your" threads be "popular" should ge beside the point. I would think the point would be to have interesting and meaningful interactions on the Forum. You're going to do better with that especially as a newbie if you participate in other threads. Pick up thread that seems interesting to you and contribute in ways that you think would enhance that thread.

There really is no such thing as ownership of a thread in a public forum but people tend to think that way so when you're participating with other people's threads are more inclined to participate with yours. More importantly be fun and interesting and see if other people are interested in interacting with you. That's easier to do with a certain amount of volume by interacting with quite a few threads this first throughout the Forum.

Starting a lot of individual threads is going to mark you as attention seeking and you probably want to avoid doing that. If you can't find a thread that already exists about something that you specifically want to talk about then sure go ahead and start a thread. I think you would find that your interactions will become more so filling quicker if you're participating in already existing threads.

Thanks for your comment and for the permission! I understand you point about breast implants but I know in my heart of hearts it’s right for me and it’s been my dream for so long. I know it might draw unwanted attention but that’s ok I’m sure I can handle it. ‘Silicone doth make the person’ - no but it damn well improved em! That’s what I’d say (not in all cases of course!)

Thanks for such a thoughtful and lengthy response. I really do appreciate y and you’ve given me plenty of food for thought. Maybe I have been posting too many threads recently.i wanted to make a positive impression and contribute fun stuff to the forums to amuse people, start discussion and meet some likeminded people. The latter hasn’t worked. I posted a thread about fake boobs and got ‘zero’ responses. I must be in quite the niche considering all the kinks on here. Incest most popular than fake boobs - who knew?

Thanks again for your comment. I will certainly follow much of your advice. Have a great day.

I don't like implants. They makes me look elsewhere when I notice a woman has them. For reconstructive surgery reasons, I can accept them. There's a beautiful young woman who I used to watch on instagram. She felt self conscious because she wasn't that gifted on the top shelf. I thought she looked great, despite anything else. She got cosmetic surgery and while it didn't go badly, and she didn't HUGE implants, I stopped watching her. I didn't do it loudly, I stopped watching quietly. I believe others did the same.

There's another model I used to love. She felt she wasn't getting enough jobs because of the same situation. She didn't just get HUGE implants, which made her look silly, she also got lip implants and nose reconstruction. She was a mess. Not only did I stop watching her, she didn't get any more modeling work because the photographer she worked with tried posting new pics of her, and the response was universal. It's a shame, she was naturally very cute, afterwards... she looked like a wreck. For her, there's no going back.

I choose neither.

If you're starting a thread about a fake boob fetish on the GB, that might be your problem. Put in the Fetish & Sexuality board,or the Playground. GB discussions are seldom about sex, at least not in a fun way. While I find the way people stick to specific boards a little perplexing, it's how the place works - my own threads would have totally bombed on the GB, but have a pretty good lifespan in F&S, and also in the BDSM boards - the readership and community there is totally different.

OP has put them there too. Been spamming the site with the same things for months and always gets the same replies, no matter which board.

I edited that to "may receive unexpected reaction" especially in context of expectations. They don't buy love.

I'll end it with where I began... They might, if you include a free set of Ginzu steak knives!!!

JaF0 - I respectfully disagree. I think boobs that you describe as Basketballs are beautiful. Google Amy Anderssen or Candy Charms if you don’t believe me.
KimGordon67 - thank you for your message. I never thought of putting it in BDSM board. I didn’t think it would count. Thanks for the suggestion.
LWulf - wins for funniest comment.
