Dang it, I meant to add I whole-heartedly agree with what Hecate said.
For most women who are interested but have never tried it, I have found that stimulating her clit and pussy until she is very very aroused is the best way to begin. Then, very gently with my finger coated in KY-Jelly probe her ass. And if she tenses up, I go back to the pussy again until she is relaxed again.

There are tons of threads on this like Hecate said. But if you are looking for quick info then I would advise getting a small anal plug to start off with. Or a probe I believe is a bit smaller than a plug.
I personally prefer to use anal ease, a gel that has a numbing agent in it. Some people do not like to use this because if you can't feel the pain then you might be hurting yourself by accident and not know it.
If you go slow and don't insert anything sharper than your elbow in the hole, then you should be fine till you get used to having something going in instead of coming out.
The first couple of times you put anything in your asshole, it is going to be slightly uncomfortable till you get used to it. But I can tell you that once you are used to it, it gets easier each time.

you should be careful with your hemroids though. if they are very prominent it might lead to bleeding and you really do not want them to start to bleed because then it is time to go to the ER
just make sure you use LOTS of lube..... too much lube is too little.
