How do I get messages????

I believe they are called IMs or PMs, over here in NZ we just call them emails, but, by crikey, I have only ever recieved one off this site. ONE!!! Tragic, I hear you say?

Well if you've got one PM (private message - which is different than an email) you're not asking for the technical question of how to read a PM you've received...more likely asking how to get people to send you some. No magic to it...but might suggest that only visiting Lit every couple of months and not posting that much makes it difficult for people to 'know' you. You might want to increase both of those...select a few thread that interest you and interact so people will recognize you. I rarely PM someone out of the blue that I don't 'know' at all or that I haven't interacted with on a thread.

Are you PMing people? Take the initiative...if you're posting off of someone on a thread or if you see the same person on some of the threads you post on and they look interesting (their mind I mean, not their AV ) try sending a friendly PM.

As I said...no big secret....but keep in mind that you're not the only one...some people prefer to interact only on the board, not in PMs.

There are several things you could try to get pm's...

If you're male, announce that your last girlfriend claims your sperm tastes like milk chocolate.

If you're female claim you have two different flavored boobs and ask if anyone want to taste.

Offer a cash reward for pm's.

Get a better AV, one like Wicked Woman's which we all oggle. Don't take mine, no one oggles mine.

Announce that you have the video tape of Britney Spears losing her virginity to a midget gang bang. Or naked photos of the bush daughters cavorting with a pony.
