How do I get chat to start??

I click the link for "login to new chat", it seems to download some stuff then just says "initializing" forever.

It rarely works for anyone. Enjoy the forums and/or find a new place to chat. Lit chat will probably work someday, but today isn't that day, and it's probably not tomorrow, sometime next month or even next year considering it's been plagued with major problems for years now.
