Send a PM to Laurel (don't use the link in the FAQ: Submissions section, it doesn't work). Tell her you want to take down story such and such (full title and chapter number, if any), or paste the story URL in the body of the PM. Laurel will respond with a question as to why you want to take it down, but you don't have to give her a reason, just confirm you want it taken down, and she will take it down usually within 3-4 days

Another way of getting it taken down is to (this seems a bit bizarre) submit an EDIT to the existing story, and, as Beachbum says, include the EXACT story title and url in the Notes to the Editor - and right up front in the Ed Note, write: PLEASE REMOVE STORY.
You can put a reason in the Note, to head off a go around with Laurel.
I took a couple of too personal poems down this way, yonks ago, about a month after I first joined Lit. Took maybe 4-5 days - it does depend on the the new story backlog at the time.
