how do I create a new username

hi there .... I created this username in a hurry to chat in the chatroom, but now want to change it. It keeps saying that my email address already exists so I can't create a new username ... please help someone!

If you don't care about what you've already posted on the site (especially if you don't have stories/poems/illustrations posted), start another account with a new email address. There are various outfits that will hand out more or less public/throwaway email accounts. You can ask Laurel to delete your original account, or not.
