How do I add an avatar?

If I go to account settings and click the empty circle, it tells me i can change it in my profile page. But I've hunted and hunted and can't find anywhere there to do it.

Go to your profile home page and hover your cursor over the part circled in RED and then select/upload the image of your choice that fits.

Well thank you. That's interesting: I already have an image in the circle you're talking about. Once upon a time I also had an avatar (it was different from the image you're talking about) that would appear next to my posts and comments. As you do. But now, as you can see— just an empty circle.

So, @Baztrachian, just an update: it appears— I don't have proof positive yet, but.... —that the avatar on the Lit side and the avatar on the forum side, which had to have been used completely separate entities, because i used to have two different ones, no longer are. And whenever that changed must have been when my forum avatar disappeared. I've uploaded a new one. We'll see if it takes, and if so, hopefully on both sides. I see it has to be approved now— I don't know how long that takes.

There was a glitch in the Matrix a couple months ago and a bunch of us had to upload the same or new avatars. I would say you discovered that glitch.
