How do I ‘unfavorite’ authors?

I accidentally ‘favorited’ a few authors when I had no intention of doing so. Now I’m unable to figure out how to ‘unfavorite’ them. Can anyone guide me through that - thanks!

Easy. Go to your control page. Click on "Following." You will see a list of authors with blue-circled check marks. Just click on those check marks, and you will unfollow the authors.

From your "My Home" page, select "Following" to get a list of authors you've favorited. There's a check mark beside the names on the list. Click the check mark to stop following the author.
