Yahoo was doing quite well back then, and I was looking for friends. Not sex, not romance, just possible activity partners.

So it was a Monday after the Super Bowl. In passing and with proper eye contact Matty said. “Hey how about a drink at Houlihan’s after work) his big green eyes sparkling.

It was fast and he was dressed nice and I said. “Sure.” I didn’t think what have I done. I certainly didn’t realize then this would be the guy I was going to marry and have two children with. I didn’t expect to be living with him for the next Super Bowl. I have as hung over and a drink and a shot sounded good.

We ended up Cosmic Bowling that night. He tried to stay at my place. I let him! He slept on the sofa with my yellow lab.

There were many more dates after that..

My wife met my 'street personae" in July, the Monday after the weekend of the 4th, 1976. She met "me" a week later while were standing naked in the shower at a party we had crashed. The guy who was having the party, thought he was gonna press the issue of having sex with her just-, because we crashed the party.
I was required at that point, to show him that you DON'T treat a lady like that, regardless of the situation.
