If you don't use your real name on this site, how did you come up with the name you use? As for me, I have always loved the style and grace of a Flamingo. The Blue part comes from the chronic depression that sometimes overwhelms me. This site has certainly helped to chase away the blues better than the depression-buddy sites. Too many sad people there.

I chose stormystarr because, first of all, I can be either calm, or I can be unbelivably rough, thats the stormy part. starr is the first word of my company name...so there you have it! Not as interesting as it sounds huh?

I always love Wizards and Dragons and shit like that. Wizard was my work nickname ,I started using it on some other boards and came here and it felt right here too.

StarryEyz is the nickname I gave my husband the week we met. We were swimming and when he came up out of the water and held me close I looked at his beautiful eyes and realied how very long his eyelashes were. So gorgeous. They looked like little stars when they were wet. I told him he must be the one for me because he had stars in his eyes. And he said when he looked at me he couldn't help it. So I started calling him Starry Eyes. Using the name when I write is my little tribute to him.

I chose mine because I like whipped cream -- and my lover likes to watch me eat it.

A guy told me the movie made him think of me sexually and so it is...

I make my living on skiis, and I'm pretty much a bum. Itwas no real stretch of imagination.

my story

Well, my orig user name was lepeu in honor of my man Pepe - I can relate to him - always goes after the long shot/wrong girl and won't give up.

Bob Waters is the name I write stories under so Laurel asked me to switch to that to make administering the board easier. I have no idea where the name Bob Waters came from. Bob is my first name but Waters just came out of the air. My first choice was Buck Naked but George from Seinfeld beat me to it.

I love to brew. I have been doing it for a couple of years now. I make some kick ass mead I call "Pagan Black Death" and have made beers that top 10 to 12 percent alc. Ummm Ummmm Good.

It was the name of a character in a movie I was watching. I don't remember the name of the movie, but it was about a woman (Gabrielle Anwar) that rode a horse up a ramp and the horse (and rider) then jumped in a pool of water. It was depression-era stuff. I just loved the sound of the name. It was just so beautiful and romantic sounding.

I chose my name from a movie...the man's true love that is portrayed as a sled

In a fantasy series about King Arthur(I think by Mary Stewart) Ambrosios is revealed to be Merlin's father and Merlin always refers to his pa as much more powerful than he, so I stole it. hehehe

Well Fuck me .... I must be the most boring person here.

I use my real name. I guess I have no imagination then.

how did you choose your user name?

I was given mine by My Husband when I bought my first Harley. He was going to call me Wide Glide but I am tall and thin so it really didn't fit!LOL

Hello All! About 30 years ago, there was 3 of us Mikes that ran togeather. So everybody that knew us started calling one of us by Mike, and another Mort, and they called me mortto, and the name just stuck.Over the years,Mike & Mort have moved to other places, but we still see each other once in a while.Slam down a few beers, and kick around the old days. Thanks!

username

Quite easy, my real name is Mandy Barewijk, and I tought that BareMandy (or bare Mandy) had a nice naughty ring to it.........

Kamiyu is the Japanese way of pronouncing Camille and this was a character in a Japanese animated show that several of my friends associated me with. It is one of my favorite shows to watch and now I use names from the show as sign ons and passwords. the 'e2c' comes from my initials and the fact that I'm "the Second (II)".

Fairly simple stuff.

e2c

Alexander was one of the names that my parents considered naming me, when I was born.
And for some reason that popped into my head when I was registering. But I thought Alexander was a bit too long for a handle. So Xander it was.
Note. My real name is NOT Alexander.
