I'm just curious.

Mine? I love the Moon and I love mystical creatures, the Elf being my Fav. :)

Because, one day, a friend and I were talking about sexuality. We were discussing how taboo it is in America and how few people are comfortable with expressing their sexual wants and desires. I said (in a symbolic reference to Genesis), "Why don't people just bite the apple already?"

So, I am now, proudly, AppleBiter. ;)

Well, I started my days online as Vickster, an old school nickname and the first thing that came to mind when I had to pick a handle to use on a chatsite. Vickster is very masculine sounding...and when I decided to submit a story here I wanted a name that made me sound like a woman...so I came up with the idea of

"something" Lady and after some thought, English came to mind and seemsed to fit well. So it's stuck :)

Have no clue....... it just came to me out of the blue.

My usual nickname is Cybercat cos of my white persian who is very interested in everything I do........ he especially loves to get into my lap and watch me typing...... sometimes he puts his paw on the keyboard as if he wanted to type himself. And he is staring at the monitor as well.
He is all cybercat from whiskers to tail.

But how I got stucked up with Seduce I really cant tell......

To be honest - LOTR obsessive. Other places all the other names were in use so i just used mine as per usual.

That said - tall, toned, elfin being, warrior - sounds cool to me!

I wish - some of you have seen the photos!

AppleBiter, I love yours even more now I know the reason behind it! :D

I've explained mine a few times before, but I know it's been a while, so here goes... My name, Tatelou, is a nickname I've literally had all my life. My real, full name is Katie Louise, and when I was born, my brother (who was 15 months old at the time) couldn't say my name properly (understandably so!), so he pronounced it "Tate-Lou" and it kinda stuck. My Dad still calls me Tatelou (or, more usually: Tate) now. :D

So, I'm Tatelou in R/L as well as online. :)

Being called Lou here (or often Lou-Lou/Loulou) came about because that's what Perdita first called me when I came here. I often get called "Taters" (as in "Laters Taters") in private, too (and that's down to Lew  ).

Lou :cathappy:

And 'Tasty' by someone else.

I used to be called Kendo Kawasaki, since I was a hairy, bearded biker at the time. Real name Ken, obviously! Used Kendo ever since.

I had been describing myself as a logophile (see definition in sig line) for a while. When I came to Lit, it made sense that my love (obsession) for words was what brought me here, so that's what I chose. It's not gender-specific, though, and many people have thought I was a man. Oh well, I'm all woman!

I chose The Earl because it was a nickname. My natural accent is slightly Pimms-o'clock (like a BBC newsreader) and it stuck out where I grew up. I have toned it down in recent years, but still earned me nicknames of nobility.

And it was TheEarl instead of The Earl, because when I joined Lit, you were not allowed spaces in names.

I thought you were male! :D

The rgraham is a short form of my name. And I added the 666 because I'm a heretic, and heresy comes from Satan, don't you know?

Also, few people use the 666 for reasons stated above. This means I don't have to spend half an hour thinking up names that are rejected, and that I'll forget about quickly.

no sh!t... :D

I'm a carpenter...since 1974...so mine, as they say, was a natural...

(someone told me it might have a sexual connotation, too...hmmmmmm, never thought of that!)

:D :D :D

Mlady came because of the renaissance costumes I create. And France is my married name. The two seemed to work nicely together, I think.

I used OhMissScarlett as a chat name for ages. The name Scarlett is sort of related to my real life name which was taken from Gone With The Wind.

When I was in my early twenties, I worked with a lady who always said I looked and acted like a southern belle(which I don't think I did). She started calling me Scarlett all the time at work and it just stuck. :)

Since i was a teenager, male friends have called me 'red' - i have auburn hair - and when i finally bit the bullet about 10 yrs ago and cut off the waist-length mess, my cut was 'trendy' .... hence, trendyredhead. however, in r/l i am more 'classic' than 'trendy'.

I just picked two names I loved (Sophia and Jane) and put them together. Nothing special behind it at all. Shortly after I started posting, I got tired of writing out Sophia Jane, so I shortened to SJ, and that seems to have caught on pretty well with everyone.
Of course, my favorite variant of my lit name is Sophie ( to Logo).

SJ
