How Creative Are You?

This link is to a creativity test. It takes, maybe, 2-minutes to complete. The results are tabulated as a part of a world-wide research study.

You come up with 10 nouns - trying to make each noun as "far away" from any of your other words as possible. "Far away" refers to being as dissimilar in every way possible.

I always think I am creative mentally, but turns out I graded out as being fairly average. I didn't break the 80% mark for creativity - 78.3%.

This will, no doubt, be a short-lived thread, but perhaps it'll amuse for a short while?

I’m thinking this test isn’t a real measure of creativity. By what standard is this being judged?

I’m thinking this test isn’t a real measure of creativity. By what standard is this being judged?

Well, it is not a measure of creativity. It is a test of word knowledge. A false positive. Would Picasso or Jackson Pollack pass this test?

Sort of like the old IQ test that were knowledge tests and not IQ tests. Plus the knowledge was what was taught and learned in the white public schools of America. The modern IQ test actually tests IQs without requiring a knowledge base. It is now a brain test.

So apparently my score is below average for creativity, which completely contrasts the fact of what I know of my own real life.
I've literally been a graphic designer before.

One of the words I chose is computer, which somehow was seemingly scored as the word with the most "distance" from all the other words I chose.
Meanwhile my lowest scoring word was rabbit.
Not sure how at all rabbit had the least "distance" from my other words.

No. It is a number. I know I’m creative. I don’t have to have a test to show me I am. No, I’m not comparing myself with others nor am I embarrassed at a score. You assume I may have been. In general, it IS a valid question.

Negativity begets negative responses. Positivity begets positive responses. What type of response did you want with your answer? From this point on, think about that before questioning others about anything.
