Here is an excerpt from The Middle East magazine in an article about Kuwait:

The majority of Kuwaitis support the US. Many invite American soldiers to their homes for a meal to show their appreciation for their role in protecting their nation.

"I feel guilty that we live in comfort while our American friends who are here to protect our comfortable living are sleeping in tents in the desert," a Kuwait academic, told The Middle East.

A stream of women and children from 'Families of The Martyrs Association' whose loved ones died resisting the occupying Iraqis, placed flowers where two Americans were shot on Highway 80.

How come I never hear about that kind of stuff on the news, only about the religious extremist’s fervent hatred to us and the Western world?

You mean you've never heard of demonising the enemy?

As far as Bush and his media are concerned it's much easier to get everyone to hate all Arabs...
