this is just an inappropriate use of nature to torture us.....my furnace is running nearly nonstop and my car is frozen..... where is the justce

Try being here in New Zealand....temps in the high 20s/low 30s C. And petrol here has risen 7c/litre in a week, the cause (according to last night's news) the freezing temps in the USA.
And I'm moving to Sydney Australia next weekend where the temperatures are even hotter

Let's go check the thermometer at 2 AM! Yay! -5 degrees F, but it feels like -32 F, says weather.com because of that lovely thing we call wind chill! This morning and afternoon, it says it's supposed to be a balmy 15 degrees F.
Haha, all I know is that a bunch of schools in MA and on the Cape are cancelling school due to the extremely frigid weather. It's usually not this cold on the Cape.

Well, we were enjoying 75 - 80 degree temperature here in So Cal, but that seems to have ended. Today is foggy, overcast, and chilly! Okay, so 65 degrees is almost frigid for us.
I feel a lot of sympathy for those in the NE. I know a cold snap can be refreshing, but the temps I'm hearing about seem almost unreal! I hope everyone stays warm and safe!

I have just about had it with this whole board, which is why I seldom post here anymore. I come here for talk about BDSM, not talk about the friggin weather. If you want to talk about the weather, or any other general topic, then by all means, trot on over to the general board.
Before the split of this Board, we had non-BDSM threads, yes, but not to the extent that we have them now. For the love of christ, you can't even keep them contained on their own damn BOARD, even with the help of guidelines, which no-one seems to read anyway.
This used to be a rather interesting place, where BDSM was discussed, debated, and some worthwhile topics were started.
Lately, that isn't the case. It's a pity, really.

Your right it did, glad it was moved, but it did make me think of spring and outdoor play. And miss some of the absent posters as well. But they moved on and we are left with people new to the lifestyle mostly. So maybe if they returned we could have more experienced people lead discussions again. You have to remember you can't expect as much from newbies and those few left. But you were right and apologize if you thought was ignoring you.

I don't think my view is any different than anyone elses. I am "new" to accepting this way of life but it has always been a part of me. My feelings and desires are no different than anyone here. We all have them want to discuss them so we all may learn and grow. If you can't grow then no matter what it is you are doing you eventuality will wither and die.
I guess I am confused...maybe you could explain why "my" view would be different. I am just curious.

See, this is why we have moderators. I posted here knowing this thread was on the wrong board, but also knowing that it would likely be moved.
It's not really a big deal.
New posters have different views because we are not all carbon copies of each other.
And btw, the temperature has plummeted to 53 here in lovely SC.
