1) Bush inherited a budget surplus from Clinton's administration. Now, the GAO is predicting a significant deficit for this fiscal year.
2) Yes, he inherited a recession, but under his guidance he's also managed to make it the longest recession since WWII. I'd point out also that O'Neill quit the Cabinet after being disenfranchised at Bush's inability to put together a fiscally sound economic package.
3) WorldCom was a 2001 event. Rather than give the SEC and FASB boards more teeth with which to censure companies found guilty of playing with the numbers, he left Pitt to dangle in the wind. Who thinks the SEC has credible oversight powers now?

Sure, I found it very interesting. Glad to be of help. Just looky at all the resolutions that Saddam has turned his nose up at. And folks say we are "rushing" to war. It's long, but good.
How many times were the words, condemns, unconditionally accept, comply, must do this or that, used? All very interesting.

I'm not blaming the economic downturn that started while Clinton was in office on him. Hell, it's economics. There will always be ups and downs. And 9/11 did not help the start of Bush's term, not the least of which was economically.
