just because one of ur parents is hindu and one is christian doesnt make u half hindu and half christian (just using those as examples)...

u gotta b whole something or nothing at all

I know you likely hate me, but on this issue I agree with you.

the sad fact some grow up in such a steeped religion, that religion becomes culture, thus brought up as a half this and that religion.

it seems strongest with catholic and eastern religions that the children automatically assume they are what theier parents are, by merely being born to the parents.

oh I dunno, I was raised Unitarian Universalist, which means you can kinda have it how you like it. So there are Unitarians who embrace Paganism, Unitarians who come from a more traditional Christian background and so that provides more of a framework for their beliefs for them, or Unitarians who are from Jewish families, there a Wiccan Unitarians, Buddhist Unitarians, etc etc. Since the whole concept of Unitarian Universalism is, essentially, that all religious traditions have value and that all of the parables of each can be viewed as metaphors that contain lessons and ideals common to all faiths, it is possible therefore to view yourself as more than one thing. It's not like 'halves and quarters' and such though, it's more like "I'm this AND this".

well admittedly Islam is one religion I don't know a whole lot about yaya so I will have to take your word on that.
