How can I find this information

I made a post for an intelligent discussion on another board and instead was flamed all to hell.

Anyway, I've read multiple posts on various boards, read reports and surveys from medical/scientific/relationship magazines and websites regarding it, and spoken to multiple people both in person and online about it.

What is IT? Men that get bent out of shape about. 1.) useing a toy in the bedroom (the whole competition thing).

and 2.) women who masturbate when their man isn't around.

A huge number of men get jeolous/mad/insecure when they find that their girlfriend/wife masturbates without them. However, I have NO idea how to look this up on the net and I have no way of yanking old magazines out that I've read stuff about this in.

Where might I find credible sources of info on this subject.

*two side notes*
1.) this got brought up because a friend of mine messaged me this morning. Her boyfriend went to work, came right back home sick, and caught her hammering the hell out of herself with a large dildo and a clit toy. He said if she preferred the toys over him then she didn't need him at all. Said he'd be back later and that if she ever used them again he'd leave her. INSECURE PRICK.

2.) Yes, I know many women are jeolous of their man's masturbation habits but this isn't the discussion.

?? whats your question? I'm not sure if your making a statment about it, or are looking for some tech. info or what??? can you narrow this down some?

Yes, I'm asking a question. I know I've read multiple things on the subject of men getting jeolous over their woman masturbating when they aren't around. However, when they asked me about it I have no idea how to dig it up for them. I've read magazines and books (yes! there is info other than the net) and spoken to numerous people both in person and on the net that have this problem.

However, I would like to find some info on the net about it but I'm having no luck as I have NO idea how to look it up.

I agree with huskie - what IS the poiint? Is there one?

I've never had a man feel "jealous" of a toy. The men that I've been with have all loved and looked forward to my "toy box". And many of them have found some pretty interesting uses for them that I'd never considered!

As far as masturbating when men are not around, well, if a man thinks his woman only waits until he shows up for sexual activity, then he is very, very naive.

ok. sorry. I know of no site or guy friend that has this illness.......... what would you call it?? Girlfriend dildo envy??? or some thing??
sorry to be a smart ass, i know that aint helping you. I could see how some younger more naive guys would or might have a problem with this and I guess even I personaly might feel bad about it if I found out my wife did it when I wasn't around. Unless she came out and told me, then I would be turned on about it. I guess it does leave some guys to think "Hey, I'm not and or don't satisfy her??!!" you can take it from there of how ANYONE would feel if they thought that. right?

Its a common enough problem that I've read it multiple places as well as many "sexual oriented" shows have done episodes about it.

Its not just with younger people. Many that I've read about are indeed older couples.

Just having the toys isn't the big thing. Its their use when the SO isn't around that tends to cause the problems I've been told about or read about.

so is your question:

1.) Were to find some tech. info on this?? like something that gives this condition a medical name or something?

2.) or our opinion of why SOME (not nearly all) get pist about it?

I'm looking for articles covering this. I don't care about a name if there is one. Just articles and surveys covering the issue.

I think I'd start with a google search for "female masturbation" statistics

Then start reading until you find either a "name" for the phnomenon you use in a search engine, or some link that leads to what you're looking for.

Try doing a WWW search for Martin Daly & Margo Wilson (A pair of Canadian evolutionary psychologists). They wrote quite a bit about jealousy within marriage. Several papers were specifically on masturbation (from the perspectives of both spouses..).
