How can i change my user name?

I'd like to change my username since, quite frankly, I despise mine. Is there any way I can do this? I read that I need to PM someone named Laurel, which brings me to my next point. How do I unlock personal messages and how do I send them to her if that's what I need to do? Or is there anything else I need? Thank you.

You can send Laurel a PM and ask for the name change and for your stories to be moved over to the new one, she's done it for other authors here. I don't know if it affect people who put you on their fav pages, you might lose those, but with just the two stories you were just starting to build one anyway so it shouldn't be to big of a deal.

Go to user CP at the top left of the screen and find enable private messages.

Then send a PM to Laurel from here

On the flip side there is a lot less cross over between the Lit pages and the Lit forums than you'd expect and your name here is in no way tied to your name there.

My point being it's not like your readers are gonna come here, find you and start messaging you or anything cute like that.

Also if Laurel is to busy to help you could always resubmit the stories under whatever your new name is. Then delete them under this one or ignore them until Laurel calls it to your attention (cus eventually someone will accuse you of plagiarism but since it's YOU well problem fucking solved right out the goddamn gate.
