I'm so surprised at all the younger people with this idea~that the Holocaust never happened.
It's just unfathomable. Not just younger folks though, older ones too.
We can go and visit those places where it happened. My friend went there to Dachau...she didn't come back anywhere near the same. She is totally changed. She hasn't yet gotten over the miasma of pain that is still vibrating in the air over there. She says it was palpable.

It's just unbelievable the depths humanity can sink to.

People want to believe the the tri-lateral commission is running the world, that Masons have special powers, and that Skull and Bones runs the United States. Media is the opiate of the masses. Extraterestrials control the internet and we are all just drones in a huge space ship where live is simulated and we are actually part of an enslaved mildless population of bumble bees. People love to make fools of themselves and many are too lazy to use the mind they are blessed with.

this is EXACTLY the reason why Eisenhower had all the combat cameramen and reporters he could get his hands on go and visit the camps. this is why he also had all the soldiers he could visit the camps. he grabbed damn near everybody he could and drug them through those places b/c he knew, he KNEW that someday some smartasses would reject the idea that any of it happened.

sadly, many of those witnesses have passed on, and the remaining ones are geting on in the years, but i doubt that but a few would get up off their deathbed, if need be, to beat the sense into someone claiming it never happened! hell, i'll do it myself, and i've only been through the Holocaust Museum(sp?) in DC!

I saw an interview with a man that denied The Holocaust, and he did not deny that people died in the Nazi concentration camps. His position rested on the number of deaths, and that the massacre did not reach the level where it should be considered a holocaust. He claimed that there were fewer Jews before the war than were reported killed during the war, so it was impossible for that many to survive and yet still have a holocaust.

Like all the other deniers of The Holocaust, he could not substantiate his numbers at all. His only response to evidence of the number killed was that they inaccurately counted the bodies and remains. He was obviously very anti-Semitic, so no doubt this colored his reaction to the overwhelming evidence of The Holocaust.

I wonder did he consider the gypseys, developementally disabled, and mentally ill, the homosexuals, artists, poles and other eastern europeans. The list is so long. 6 million jews, and another 6 million on top of that. The pity in all this is that it continues. 3 million Cambodians out of a population of 15 million killed by the khmer rouge. God only knows how many in the Soviet Union, not the mention Ruwanda. The level of cruelty in this world remains the same. We can never deny history and expect a better future.

Just to illustrate the depths of his denial, he claimed there were only half a million Jews before WWII. And he made no mention of any other victims of The Holocaust.

The same could be said about Mao's Cultural Revolution in China. I would argue that for propaganda's sake, the West would have highlighted these atrocities as examples of communism at its worst.

Perhaps they are underreported in relation to the Holocaust because they were internal massacres? The Nazis crossed borders in order to carry out its sick mission; the Soviets and Chinese stayed within their country's borders. People in the West feel secure that their governments would not inflict such horrors upon them, but we are all potential victims of evilmongers in other countries. Just a theory.
