In April, police in Buffalo, N.Y., said Thomas L. Hunter, 55, ran off with a case of brandy from the Eastside Liquor store, but during the getaway, he dropped the case, and bottles shattered. He was arrested when he returned to the scene of the spill and started sucking up brandy with a straw.[Buffalo News, 4-10-05]

I guess this guy really needed a drink. :D

It's closing in on 100º F outside, I'm practically naked, the window is open, the fan is at top speed, and it still feels so hot that I can hardly breathe. What do you think?

I wonder if sidewalk grime adds to or takes away from the taste of the brandy?

I would imagine that it would depend on both the grime and the brandy...

I haven't had a drink in 12 days....

if I saw some tequila on the sidewalk I might be tempted

I have a beer in my hand now.........I feel sorry for the less blessed.

After the day I've had, if something 90 proof was soaking into the ground in front of me, I'd eat the damn mud with a spoon if I had to...

heehee.

A friend of mine once put a bottle of Guinness in the freezer. It got icy so he put it in the oven... well naturally he forgot about it (this was a gas oven, which are always warm even when not lit, due to the pilot light). When he finally found it hours later, he drank it, even though it was baked. :)

EW!

Carson, I greatly admire you trying not to drink. It's not an easy thing to do, but is a great accomplishment. Greater than many I can think of.

What happened to the co2 ball in it, did it burst?

Oh, well It'd be a neat experiement.

and you are welcome. I hope you make it.

I was referring to baked Guiness, but I do love you:D:kiss::p

So it was still liquid. I've always though that if you baked Guinness you'd end up with stout flavored fudge.
