No data or sources (please!).

Consumers know where the economy is headed before stats are released, usually by months.

Feels like prices in general here are softening.

Houses, cars, gas, food, all appear to have peaked.

It feels like most of it is a reduction in the greed premium. I think companies could feel the natives getting restless.

What’s the vibe in your spending zone?

Expensive, especially in Quebec Every product has increased in price. And if an item is on sale, the sale price is now what the regular price was previously.

The US—most products are still far less expensive than here.

A large bottle of Ibuprofen (150 count) $22 at SDM/Pharmaprix

US Walmart (400 count) $3.97.

You need to know your prices.

If you're the seller, prices are great. If you're the buyer, not so much.

I used to buy £20 of goods every week for our local food bank. I had to increase my spending to £25 to buy the same quantity.

But the demand for the food bank has increased significantly and the donations have dropped, so now I buy £50 a week...

A&W is popular here too. Along with Harvey’s, Wendy’s, McDonalds (ick) and lots of LaBelle Provence type joints

What you buy at these chain restaurants is speed and consistency. There are too many decent burger joints around here for me to go to McD, BK, Wendy's, Sonic, etc for a burger to enjoy.

Oh, today is Thursday...... Spenard Food Truck Round-Up day...

Time for an update.

Prices here seem to have levelled , mostly because consumer spending has evaporated.

Agree. That's why i better start earning more and don't hope for something to change.
Text services for business created a lot of opportunities for many business owners and we need to use themas much as we can.
I am nor a person who gonna complaint about the facts, but the one who will try to adapt to the new conditions.

Hoping for something to change is about all most Americans have right now.

Methinks you’re in for a long winter.
