I'm concerned about many norm breaking things that are being done advancing authoritarianism rather than originating in Congress. I've said for years that things take time and should involve solid legislation rather than executive power. This President did not start that problem....he just takes it to the extreme more than the others.

The singular thing that demonstrates that is the juxtaposition of the two Presidents with their pardons. Both Presidential pardons were horribly atrocious but likely you are fine with one of them if you support the guy who did it THAT concerns me

The end of American Exceptionalism occured at noon on Monday January 20th.
American democracy as we know it is on life support, it is under attack from all angle from agents of chaos. (Russia too, but mainly chaos).
The battle for the next iteration of American government has begun. There are three factions:

• The group that wants to install a Fascist states of America (Elon Musk as the public face, Russ Vought of Project 2025 as the power behind the throne)
• The group that wants the moneyed oligarchy to reign unfettered (JD Vance as the public face, Peter Thiel as the power behind the throne)
• The group that wants a Christian states of America (longtime front-runner, currently in third place, I guess the triumvarate of Texas attorney general Ken Paxson, Oklahoma school superintendent Ryan Walters and House speaker Mike Johnson will share power in the short term)

Note that in none of the above factions is Donald Trump relevant any longer. He's old, his days are few. He'll be gently but firmly pushed aside once one of the factions above reaches a critical mass of support (think: Second term Ronald Reagan). Trump will be put in the spotlight from time to time for carefully controlled media appearances. Perhaps he will lay a wreath in Bitburg Germany like Reagan did. All factions will allow Trump his cathartic "Vengeance Is Mine" tour throughout 2025, after which time, Trump is expected to revert to historical norm and play golf and watch Fox until 11 a.m. each weekday.

It would be premature to label any of the above three factions as "Nazis" until the first death camp is built. (or discovered, I tend to doubt these camps will be built in the public eye).
