When painting ones house white in bright sunshine it is a good idea to use sun block.

I painted the back room today and ended up with a bit of sunburn on my face from the sunshine reflecting off the white paint.

Well doesn't this figure.

Finished painting the back room at 1430. Now it's raining like mad. Over an inch in the past half hour. I'll be interested to see how this affected the new pain job.

oh that's bad... paint may peel- all that humidity not conducive to paint drying and all... not sealing quite right, scrape and redo ... feel for you dude... i hate painting myself...

Typo or subconscious truth?

A bit of both I suppose.

Put the second coat on the back room today. A bit of a chore to paint. The room is made up of pre fab panels forty eight inches wide and eighty seven inches tall. It is three panels deep by five panels long. (12'x20') It took almost a full gallon to put the two coats on it.

We then started on the rest of the trailer. Made it about five feet before we finally ran out of the gallon of paint we were working on. We decided to call it a day and let the paint dry a bit before the afternoon rains came in.

Yep it rained again today. Isn't it strange how after a month where we only received a total of 1/4 inch of rain it decides to rain on the days I'm painting. Between yesterday and today we got almost two inches of rain. Ahh well.

Tomorrow we'll be up early and do some more painting.
