I was hoping to buy my wife a hotwife anklet for her birthday.

I imagine in the real world anklets are a piece of jewerlly just like anything else. Wore by vanillas totally ignorant that they also have a special, more fun, meaning. So I'm guess they're available in any jewerlly store.

My wife recently officially became a hotwife. I'd love for her to start sporting an anklet. But she's not much if a jewerlly person to begin with. So she'd never go for wearing one. She also has no idea of the meaning behind one. So I got her one, kept her in the dark, she wore it, and then found out what is meant, she'd be pissed!!

You can buy them anywhere if you prefer a bricks and mortar type person (I am) and even more online. Surprisingly Walmart sells a vast array of them because as Screwher said, for most it is just another piece of jewelry with no meaning. If you do not believe me go to church and count how many ladies sport them.

Myself I don't see them as having any true meaning either with the exception that when a woman (my wife included) puts on an ankle bracelet she is deliberately doing so to draw attention to her legs, and thus, expects a man to look; it is jewelry after all!

One great thing about ankle bracelets (also called anklets) is that they can be mixed and matched. In other words you can buy a simply chain and clasp and jazzy it up with a little pendant of some sort.

One thing to consider too is the length as they do vary. The length is not due to a ladies weight (and thus ankle size) for the most part, but where she prefers to wear it. A longer ankle bracelet will drop down farther on her ankle, often times resting on the topish part of her foot and achilles tendon, whereas a shorter one will not drape down so far and stay higher on her ankle. Generally you measure just above the woman's ankle bone. Th anklet my wife is wearing in this photo is a 9 inch one.

I sometimes where an anklet including the HW version and I like the body chains as well. It is mostly as a tease to hubby or in certain circumstances with a lover.

The thing is that much as I enjoy it I don't really want to be hit on by every guy out there. The relatively few who notice and know what it means tend to assume a hot wife is non-discriminating and will just fuck anyone. Not so for me - I am very choosy but just don't feel inclined to limit myself to one man.
