Jesica Alba
Gena Gershwin
Angelia Jolie
Katie Holmes
Angie Harmen
Tina Fey
(and her twin Rudi Bakktar)
Terri Clark
Peg Bundy

I like brunetts. Blonds are over-rated

Hmm...

I know of no stars that interest me. I mostly eye the "plain" girl in the corner... even if she ain't plain.

If I were forced to chose...

Miss Rodeo Medicine Hat. How's that for pathetic?

I know this may sound strange, but my mother, when she was my age looks hotter than any women I've ever seen on screen. And while I'm thinking about it, I'll bet Hillary Clinton was a foxy hotty at my age too.

Hey! What's wrong with REDHEADS?

I'm a redhead. Well more strawberry blond than actually red, but still.

Anna Magnani, Maria Callas, Ingrid Bergman, Helen Mirren, Eleonora Duse, Emma Thompson, Jessica Lange, Catherine Deneuve today, Jeanne Moreau at any age. (look them up)

Sorry, Sweets, I can't call anyone on your list a woman, let alone hot.

maturely, Perdita :p

In her day Sophia Loren was incredibile. Especially in El Cid in those awesome gowns.

Carie Anne-Moss
Halley Berry
Elle McPherson
Peneolpe Anne-Miller
Rahel Weisz

I didn't know Gershwin had a daughter, but yes she is hot
(even if she is according to some, not a woman). :)

I think SnP meant Gina Gershon (From Face/Off and Showgirls), but I might be wrong.

Ooooh! Some of my faves are already mentioned, can't hurt to put them twice!

Catherine Deneuve
Jeanne Moreau
Susan Sarandon
Mercedes Ruehl
Marlene Dietrich
Angela Basset
Angelina Jolie
Monica Belluci
Sophia Loren (just watched her in Two Women)
Tori Amos
Fiona Apple

BTW it's Gina Gershon -- no relation to Gershwin, but I like her work.

Right you are Raphy! Also in Bound which was hot even though it had Jennifer Tilly in it who usually makes my teeth itch.

Are we compiling contenders for Miss Solar Flare? ;)

How about Emmanuelle Béart?

I don't underrate blondes, ;) and I just saw her in "Date With an Angel" :D

Bridge's choices were good though I don't know the two young ones by sight and the only reason A. Jolie has an interesting face is because she always seems emotionally pained.

I must also add to the mature list:

Sylvana Mangano (a nose to rival Magnani's)
Virna Lisi (she was an amazing C. de Medici in "Queen Margot" which also starred the delicious Isabel Adjani).
Fanny Ardant
Louise Brooks
and any woman in Pedro Almadovar's films

Big yes w/Quas on Emmanuelle Béart.

ACK!!!!

I have a terrible head for names, so I can probably not remember half the names of some of my hearthrobs that I would consider to be on my list. But when Perdita mentions Virna Lisi, my knees go weak and I am grateful to be already on my butt. :)

My personal criteria would be on looks alone. The acting and writing can help some achieve lustfull desires being sent their way, but I would want to make the list composed of those that created palpitations with nothing more than their 'look'. Dietrich, Denouve and Lisi are all near the top for me.

It's not in the same class, and I'm giving away both my own age and cinematic proclivities, but somewhere on the list is Suzanne Pleshette, Barbara Bach and , damn, what did I say about names: English (Welsh?) actress that did a James Bond film and then was on US TV for years as a doctor in the Old West.

It's like art - I know it when I see it ;)

Ditto on Jane Seymour
Elizabeth Hurley
Demi Moore
Gillian Anderson
Helen Hunt

Never having heard of a great many in the original list I'm going to be parochially English and say,

Sue Nichols
Amanda Barrie
Sue Lloyd
Sarah Lancashire
Camilla Parker-bowles (laugh all you like, I don't care)
Jacqueline Pirie
Alyson Spiro
Jean Rogers
Helen Weir
Diana Davis
Dianna Coupland
Madeleine Howard

I very much doubt if a single one of these is under 30 years old.

For the record, none of the women I mentioned is under 40, most (the living) 50 to 60+. And all, even La Deneuve, only grew more beautiful after 50.

Perdita

Whisper, you can agree with me - I love her. Sorry I left her out.

cheers, Perdita
