I put this on the general board. I am sick and tired of reading the negative and unconstructive feedback for Cuckold and Hot Wife type stories.

I like to read Literotica quite often. Some of the sexy stories heighten my state of arousal. I often masturbate to these stories. They are erotic and enjoyable. What is great about Literotica is that you can find all kinds of stories for whatever floats your boat. One genre of stories is the Loving Wives category. This category of Loving Wives has several sub segments. There are men that love to share their wives in MFM situations or just watch their wives with other men. In the past i have started threads in an attempt to understand why this is such a turn on for some men? I do not really understand why this is so but I have accepted that it is so.

One such sub segment is the "Hot Wife" or "Cuckold" sub segment. This is the reason for my post. I have read several of these stories and I see so many instances of negative feedback for the author. These negative comments are not constructive at all. Most of the time they are anonymous and they say something such as the author is some disgusting sick faggot that needs to grow a pair of blah blah blah. They are always mean spirited and very hateful. Why? If you have nothing good to say then why leave a comment? If this bothers you than why bother reading the story in the first place?

My theory is the following: Many of these comments are left by men that are reading the stories while jacking off. This type of story secretly excites them. Once they achieve orgasm they feel guilty and leave a nasty comment. To me this is projecting. This reminds me of the days of my youth when late teens and twenty something’s would go out on the town gay bashing. I always believed that some of these gay bashers - with their elaborate schemes to beat up gays - were in a state of secret inner conflict. They were secretly excited about sucking another man’s cock and hated themselves for this. In many instances this proved to be true.

I have never met so many judgmental individuals with so many repressed sexual feelings as I have on the Lit Discussion board. Yes, I find this ironic. I know this post will not go over too well. I don’t care.

It is much, much, much more desired than most people recognize, because most men will not admit to such erotic feelings about a desire that might be considered "unmanly." As a result, I have come to applaud and appreciate those men who have the courage to accept and indulge their true sexual desires. I think it goes beyond just an intolerance for cuckold stories. If you look at any subject on the General Board, and to a great extent on the How To board, you will find an extreme intolerance for any subject the responding poster considers the least bit out of the norm.

Literotica is an un-moderated board, and like any un-moderated board on the internet, it has become a magnet for trolls. Some of these resident trolls post up to 30 or 40 posts per day, and in some cases, have been doing this for years. Part of the problem is, after a person spends that much time on a message board, the begin to believe they have the right to police the board, and criticize any subject they believe does not belong on what they consider to be “their” message board.

Being a public board, other than ignoring them, there really isn’t much anyone can do about it. Most of the resident trolls here are most probably losers with no life of their own. There are plenty of other people who come here and enjoy the stories. Just ignore the losers.

As far as your post about cuckold relationships and lifestyles, this is the "Fetish and Sexuality Central" forum, and in my opinion, the right place to post your thoughts on the subject. Personally, I enjoy reading cuckold stories.

Amen to that. However, as an author, if you allow voting on your stories and/or public feedback, the trolls can "play" all over your story. That, right there, is a fact of Lit whether it's "right" or not.

This is a very good point, but I think it is part of a larger issue.

Women are portrayed as lesser beings all over the Internet (I'll leave my comments restricted to the Internet for this post). We are humiliated in porn so often, so commonplace, that it is the accepted norm. Most of it is far more disgusting and degrading than any cuckold story I've ever read. There are prodigious amounts of woman-degrading stories right here on Lit.

No one says a thing. Stories of this sort get rave reviews.

However, when someone writes a story in which the woman humiliates a man, or she simply holds the advantage, suddenly all the little boys come out from their man-caves and spit, and cry, and yell, and threaten.

That a story might portray women so much as approaching equal status is just too much for them to handle.

Yes, I have seen this definition, but I think this definition is an effort to discredit men who cannot, supposedly, control their wives. The majority of the cuckold world would not define a cuckold as such.
