'70s and '80s movie sex scenes were so basic and simple, but effective.

80% of any sex scene was bared jiggling titties. The other 20% consisted of strategically-placed shadows, close camera cropping, parted legs, bared buttocks from either the fucker or fuckee, sometimes both.
