Questions for the ladies, does anyone out there experience hot flashes during the month? I'm only 26 but I've been getting them more and more in the last few month, usually in the week or two after my period. I get so hot that I usually cook my husband out of bed. Is this normal??

You're pretty young for hot flashes, but we "wimmen folk" are pretty complex creatures. You may be having unusual hormonal fluxations. That is to say, what you're experiencing is not "normal" for a woman your age--but that doesn't mean it's unheard of either. It might not even be a real "hot flash." Best to have your doctor check you out and see if it's normal for you or if there's something that can be adjusted so that you don't have deal with such things. Hot flashes don't usually hit women under 40--though, once again, it's not unheard of.
