24,000 Islamic terror attacks since 9/11

Blame the politicians who demand we tolerate the intolerable

It certainly seems as if parts of the Islamic world don't really have a sense of humour. Have you ever thought of taking your stand-up routine to Syria, Mr Sam? It would be a great humanitarian gesture.

Only fools joke about this

Kill em all

Have you read Charlie Hebdo? It's rather full of jokes - that's sort of the point.

I'm quite serious - comics could do a lot on this kind of thing by ridiculing it. We could call it Stand Up to Terrorism. It might be bigger than Band Aid. Hack into Iranian news networks and broadcast irreverent comics 24/7. Tehran would be furious.

France says they stopped several terror attacks lately

Meanwhile. ...they coddle Muslims and Islam

Hope they are killed

Oh, come on - is anyone seriously suggesting this isn't Islamic terrorism?

Have you been paying no attention to the US intelligentsia which deems itself safe behind its oceans of tolerance and diversity.

Watch our President, a man of the left, he will speak on this and like the Rose Garden speech will not call it terrorism, it will be a tragedy, and then he will vow never to be cowed by terrorism, but make it perfectly clear, that Christians are even more guilty, so do not equate this with Islam.

That's the truth about the American Left. They only enemies they have are Republicans and Christians; everyone else loves them, especially the French.

CNN says motive is unclear!

Others say, the MAG provoked the attacks

We cant win till we eliminate CNN and others

We are going to have to take a final stand at some point. I'm not willing to sacrifice any more freedom for this. The free people of the world will have to fight back. Satire is not grounds for murder. The enemy will continue to push against us unless we fight back. They will not stop attacking free institutions such as newspapers and schools. We are going to have to take actions that go against our basic beliefs, such as profiling, to fight this enemy. We cannot negotiate or reason this away.

the worldwide media is NOW ATTACKING the MAG for provocation

I knew that would happen, and if we're going to take that approach, we may as well capitulate and save everybody trouble.
We should start by taking all girls out of school because that is provocative.

Howard Dean: Don't Call Paris Shooters 'Muslim Terrorists'

Howard Dean—that celebrated scholar of Islam—has weighed in on today's murderous rampage in Paris and declared that he refuses to call the shooters in this and similar cases "Muslim terrorists."

According to Dean, the disregard for the lives of others that these terrorists display "is not what the Koran says." Dean's denial of the obvious puts him in the company of many liberals, most notably including President Obama, who after the beheading of James Foley declared that ISIS "speaks for no religion." H/t MRC's Tim Graham.

Dean, Obama and their ilk fall prey to the "no true Scotsman" fallacy, as described here by James Taranto of the Wall Street Journal. Their illogic is dangerous. How do you defeat an enemy if you refuse to acknowledge what it is?

Note: Dean goes on to decry the fact that the shooters had Kalashnikovs despite France's "tremendous" gun control laws. Does "when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" ring a bell, Howard?

WILLIE GEIST: 11 people dead, at least ten injured and five more seriously.

MKA BRZEZINSKI: We're looking at journalists being among the dead, too.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: Howard?

HOWARD DEAN: You know, this is a chronic problem. I stopped calling these people Muslim terrorists. They're about as Muslim as I am. I mean, they have no respect for anybody else's life, that's not what the Koran says. Europe has an enormous radical problem. I think ISIS is a cult. Not an Islamic cult. I think it's a cult.

BRZEZINSKI: Interesting, yeah.

DEAN: And I think you got to deal with these people. The interesting thing here, is we talked about guns the last time in regarding the United States, regarding how guns get in the hands of the kind of people that kill the two police officers here two weeks ago. France has tremendous gun control laws, and yet these people are able to get Kalashnikovs. So, this is really complicated stuff, and I think you have to treat these people as basically mass murderers. But I do not think we should accord them any particular religious respect, because I don't think, whatever they're claiming their motivation is, is clearly a twisted, cultish mind.
