Ok There is a video store in my town and a guy that works there that makes me really, really hot!! I have seen him checking me out, but everytime I look over at him he looks away. (Must be the shy type) Anyhow, I want to ask him out, but not sure how to do it...What should I say? I know nothing about him, not even his name. He isn't wearing a wedding ring, so I'm HOPING he is single. Also, the place is pretty busy, so there is usually alot of people around...I'll feel awkward asking him out in front of a bunch of people. Any suggestions??

Why not just strike up a casual conversation with this fellow? Ask him his opinion on movies. Don't get overly personal the first time. Just chat and try flirting a little. Typically, you can then ask him something like, "I'll bet your wife or girlfriend hate it that you have to work Friday or Saturday nights." Something like that. If it is a casual conversation, he might respond with, "Yeah, she hates it sometimes." (Then you know he is off bounds) Or, "Well, I dont't have a wife or girlfriend." Which either indicates that he doesn't, or he is a liar!

Either way, I would start off with just casual conversation/flirting and see where it goes from there.

I agree wholeheartedly that making idle chit chat with him is the way to go. It's mild flirting like this that will give you a view into what kind of guy he is. Ask him on opinions on films & movies, pick his brain, and just make small talk for starters. Hopefully he'll end up worthwhile & sparks will fly.

Yeah, 2 people can want to get with the each other, but nothing will happen unless they get to know each other. I mean it's not as though you're friends already. So you should strike up conversation with him, try and use SexyChele's method of seeing if he's taken and if he is, don't bother. My rule is, if someone if willing to cheat to be with you, they will most certainly cheat on you to be with someone else. They've done it for you, they'll do it for someone else. Hence, I never go for the taken ones even though they might flirt with me
