This story is old so I'm not exactly sure of the details but I loved it. Also don't know if it's in gay male or incest.
There are 2 young brothers who come back together after hearing about their parents death ?murder. I think they travel somewhere and somehow they develop this telepathic thing where they can hear each others thoughts but only when in this particular place and when they leave it goes. So between helping solve the murder they fall in love. I'm sure there's a nanny/ housekeeper in it too who knows about the relationship.
I've tried the search again and again but always come up blank
Sounds confusing but that's all I remember.
