I have lived in my home for fifteen years. There is a owl that has lived here as long as I have. I have never seen it but almost nightly it is whoing to let me (well maybe other owls) know he is out there. Sometimes other owls answer it back.

That's amazing because apparently not all owls hoot, they mostly screech or hiss or bark even. When your owl hoots it's either declaring it's territory or calling to its mate as they'll communicate whilst she's getting food. Or its calling to owlets on the ground... Why do I know this stuff? I honestly don't know but I'm a woman and women know thee most random of things it's just the way it is... Thank you for posting I'm delighted you did.... XxX

Why would I be pretending to be someone I'm not? Oh wait it's the Internet and that's mostly what people do.... But just to clarify even if I was bloke I'd not find much entertainment laughing at others expense, but I can see the appeal to others but that's thankfully not how I roll.

Thanks for advice on changing my username but I feel DMD almost looks too hardcore to be a female. If you have other ideas or suggestions I'd love to hear them but DMD is a no thank you.

I wouldn't worry too much about my PM's because I can handle the weirdos and most have been pleasant enough. I'm all woman sorry to disappoint anyone... x
