Santa gave me a video camera for Christmas! I would love to make a video of myself being naughty for my husband. Does anyone have any pointers? I never even used a video camera at all, never mind taping myself! How should I start? Any angles I should aviod etc... ? I am not sure if I even want to do it concidering how my husband is. Maybe it will wake him up. What do you guys think?

not that i know anything about this

but good lighting is pretty important. it can be too harsh or too dim. the right balance is needed.
the angles all depend on what you're taping.
oh and if you want to include audio besure to be louder than usual because the mics on those things are usually not very good.

Thanks for the input so far. I just want to add that I will be taping myself, not me and my husband together. (although if I can talk him into it that could be in the future) There will not be anyone to hold the camera etc. It would just be a video of me and my vibrator. I will not be able to zoom in and all that stuff because my hands will be elsewhere!

To save you any embarassment, I would be happy to preview and edit the tapes for you..... ;)

Obviously, you're going to need to find something to position the camera on. You'll probably want a little bit of an angle - that is, putting the camera slightly higher than you will be and tilting it down, aimed at you. That will give a better shot than just directly across from you. Try to do it during the day, if you can, with sunlight filling the room. You always look better in natural light.

Probably the best advice tho, would be to experiment. Do a bit with different conditions, at different angles and then watch it and see how it looks to you.

Good luck! What a lucky hubby...wait til he sees it!

Like "Girl" said. Just try a lot of different ways. You never know exactly how it will turn out. If you have two v.c.r's you can edit it yourself. That way you have a lot of shots that you can put together on one video.

Another thought. He might get a kick out of being the camera man. Maybe after you do the first video for him. Sort of get things rolling to speak.

Dynamite, I only wish he would enjoy the being the camera man! I am nervous about even make such tapes. He is EXTREMELY "nilla".

I've made a couple for my husband with my webcam, email them to him at work.*l*

His favorite was a close up of my fingers circling my clit.
Quite easy to position the cam and get back to playing.
I guess if he dont like the close up stuff, you just need to put some thought into camera placement.

Position,position,position.

I am not even sure I should do it. I am scared how he is going to react. He wont even watch porn videos with me. I think it would be so much fun though!

So do it for you?

He never has to see it.
It can be your *dirty* little secret.

And yep,it's fun.

Porn is of other people. He might find you very erotic. If he's a bit of a sexually uncomfortable person, then you'll have problems. Just tell him if he doesn't like it, erase it, and you'll never do it again.

You won't know til you try...and if he freaks out, you can just destroy the tape. End of story.

Then you can do what Austess says and make one for yourself.

Yes, Dynamite he is a VERY sexually UNcomfortable person. It has been a big problem actually. If you do some digging you will see many post from me about it. I am hoping this might wake him up a bit. But, then I am afraid it will have the opposite effect since he is so uptight about everything else I have suggested. Who knows, I will just have to give it a try!

I don't believe I've seen a video camera that didn't have a tripod fitting. If you don't have a tripod, there are some very cheap ones available -- under $10.

Figure out how to set your cmaera up to use a TV as a monitor. Set up the camera on a tripod and frame your "stage" so that you are going to fill about 60% of the screen. Then watch your performance live on a television facing the "stage" so you can see what is working and what isn't working.
