Holy Hail, Batman!

We just had a pretty serious hailstorm go through here this afternoon, and I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. I hope you all don't mind if I share them here.

The first few were taking during the actual storm from my front window. Several cars had to stop where they were to wait it out.

Street again, it's hard to see but the street was practically a river.

And the last of the street after the worst was over.

I went to inspect my kitchen window, as the hail had been hitting it rather hard. I opened it up and took a quick picture of the pile.

I looked up and saw that my porch overhang somehow acquired a curl.

I looked down my back stairs and it almost looked like a snowdrift. Also kind of hard to see, but the shingles are a bit damaged.

I scooped up a handful...

...but then began to notice how lovely some of the stones were...

Well it was a little frightening because it was pounding into my windows. I was also concerned there might've been a tornado on the way.

No hail, but the streets are beginning to resemble creeks.
