So...I am not overly a big fan of the holidays I will admit. I am a bit of a humbug I admit. This year I have decided I want to try and enjoy it a bit more. I do want to say though it is ok and perfectly valid not to be bouncing about with excitement for it though. Some people are just not overly big fans for various reasons. You are not alone.
But to make things a wee bit more fun I thought I would share up until Boxing day with silly holidays that I found on a web site. (Boxing day is a holiday celebrated after Christmas day that comes on December 26th. It originated as a holiday to give gifts to the poor, today Boxing Day is primarily known as a shopping holiday. It originated in Great Britain but a lot of former territories of the British empire celebrate it still. Like me...in Canada. It's sort of like our version of black Friday here now a days.Lots of sales and such.Yes we still have black Friday in Canada On the day after american thanksgiving although that was not really a thing here until around the early 2000's honestly at least where I live.)
But today on
So if you were born from a virgin? If you work a blue collar job, if you enjoy a delicious brownie on occasion, Are a mom from Panama or you just want to whip out your sonic screwdriver and pretend to see some dinosaurs this is your day.
So feel free to share if there are any other holidays you personally celebrate today.
