Okay, I am curious as to your collective opinion on the subject of dates for work Holiday Parties.
Let me give you the background - Recently I went to one of my work holiday parties. A couple of my co-workers brought interesting dates (IMHO). One woman brought her ex-husband, and another brought her father as her date.
Anyway, this brought up an interesting conversation. Do you feel like you NEED to bring a date to a work holiday party? If you feel like you need to have a date (or plus one), who is your first choice to bring?
I, personally, would rather not bring a date at all. Unless they are a very independent and social person, I feel like I have to babysit them instead of socializing with my co-workers.
What do you think????? Enlighten me!
