So this is Christmas. Well, it almost is and it was just Chanukah. We celebrate everything at my house (my kids ain't dumb: if there's a way to sniff out a present, they're ready to celebrate). Are you getting ready for Christmas or Kwanzaa? Or over Chanukah? Or sick of winter or whatever?
Come into this thread. I've got a fire in the fireplace (actually I really do--it's cold here), coffee and tea, and even some kick-ass butter cookies that my friend's Hungarian grandmother taught me to make.
This is the gift thread. I'm grateful for all of you; you've helped me as a poet and been my friends. I want to make a committment to keeping this board a good place for poets so I have presents for you. Here's the first one.
