So the holiday seasons have begun, even if it's only the virginal September. The mums are in bloom, and the pumpkins are ripening on the vine after the summer's labor. The newest costumes are on the rack, and RSVPs for the masquerade balls are in the mail.

Christmas because it's the prettiest and includes gifts.

Now how the hell do I keep my boyish figure with a holiday like that? I inevitably always become a vegetarian a few weeks before the food fest. But the greed of Christmas.... now that's my favorite sin.

I'm a Halloween fanatic. I start decorating late September. A friend and I compete every year for the gaudiest decorations.

I also love that time of year. Crisp, fall air. The smell of fireplaces. The colors. There's a mystique about a dark October night.

So, what are we voting on? The most hectic holiday for us? Or our favorite?

Favorite is Halloween. Seeing the kids all dressed up really makes my day.

Most hectic is Thanksgiving because there's alot of cooking involved and, dammit, I can't cook. Let me rephrase that...I can't cook when my allergies and sinuses are bothering the hell out of me like they have been since I moved to Nevada.

Halloween used to be my favorite holiday, but know I have no one to spend it with (and no reason to dress up ) So I chose Christmas, gotta love presents!
