Welcome to the annual Holiday Drink exchange. Get out your favorite recipes and be ready to imbibe! Please be sure to post recipe with some delectable picture that at least resembles said drink so we can vicariously enjoy
My new favorite for Holiday season 2012 is a particular eggnog. It requires:
(1) Pumpkin Spice Eggnog--can be gotten at most grocery stores but you can make your own from any good recipe you find online. I've tried this with straight-up nog and other flavored nogs--they just don't taste as good. Pumpkin spice is the hands-down best for this mix.

(2) Sortilege Maple Whiskey Liqueur. This is a Canadian liqueur and it's delicious! Maple flavored yummie. I have all kinds of plans to use it in my holiday baking--like pumpkin and/or apple pie. That is, if I don't run out of it mixing it with eggnog. This stuff has it all over rum.

In a small glass pour in half-a-shot to a shot (depending on how liquored up you want to get) of the maple liqueur, top with four-to-six ounces of the nog. Stir well and sprinkle some nutmeg on top. Easy, yummy and so wonderfully festive. Happy Holidays!
