So, the trades are going on & I am beside myself, i am also horny. So if you have an interest in BOTH of these things, PM me. If you're a Av's fan than you're my best friend/sex buddy forever. If you're a Hawks/Wild fan, then that is a big no go.

My motto: put that stick in my cage.

Yeah, not so much.
2002, Game 7 Western Conference finals.
"We want Roy!"
"We want Roy!"
"We want Roy!"

And me wearing my Konstantinov sweater...:D

Avs -

a lot of rumors around the AVs right now, but nothing happening. trade partner is supposedly EDM.

saw Boedker went to the Sharks.

Sakic doesnt seem real engaged..

And you can pity me... Coyotes fan

either we.. or the city the team goes to, will have an awesome team in about 2-3 years. Maloney did well and the new GM just rocked the draft. Fille all our holes and added depth. Just a lot of really smart moves.

i am so incredibly tired of the relocation talk.. i am numb to it now.

I'm still in shock about the Subban for Weber deal. PK must have really been in the coach's doghouse.

Let's Go Pens!!!

that and Larsson for Hall? my first question was Larsson who?

Oil are so messed up.

Hall is another who was in the coach's doghouse. I'm not surprised that Shero pulled off that deal. He did it quite a few times as the Pens GM.

Hall seemed to care at least, but doesnt seem like the brightest bulb. Cant believe they gave Lucic 7 years. Or Ladd. They will be worth half that in 3 years. So many really dumb deals this year.

Oh and you are welcome for taking the Datsyuk contract... Holland so owes us.

Oilers lost the deal if you look at it player for player, no doubt. On the other hand, they addressed a huge problem. They could not go into next season without addressing defense, so I don't think it was such a bad trade. Other teams knew the oilers were desperate, so they put the price on a defenseman high. The Oilers aren't lacking in offensive talent. The addition of lucic and a healthy connor mcdavid should be able to pick up for hall's absence. They still have work to do on D, but Larsson helps. So while I understand people when they say it was a bad trade for the oil, I won't say it was a stupid trade. If that was the best deal the oilers could get, they have to take it, as they cannot go into next season with the same D as last year, or it's another bottom 5 year.

On the other hand, I don't understand the Subban-Weber trade from montreals perspective. Supposedly they got rid of him for character reasons, but then they go and sign radulov. Makes no sense to me. They got a worse (but still good) defenseman who is older.

Shame for Edmonton to be heading into a new building and the team is still trying to find some sort of direction.

I never thought reading hockey trade news could be so sexy! :p

Go Wings!

Am so embarrassed I am an old man of 57 and a Bruins fan here in Massachusetts. Is great seeing a young lady talk about off season hockey for this part Frenchman :D

Hockey and sex. Nice.

Well my Penguins lost a good defensemen in Lovejoy but in return we also unloaded Beau "IR"Bennet. I'm still relishing in the Stanley Cup!! But I know a repeat is highly unlikely. Just look at the past.

I also don't get the Suban trade. I know Therion is a strict disciplinarian when it comes to committing to D. But when a player with Suban comes along you've got to let him create some offense. Therian put the cuffs on Letang when he coached here which inevitably led to the coach's dismissal. If Montreal starts slow this season look for the Habs to follow suit.

Just bad management

Yea the Oil are a mess and everyone has been waiting for that vault to crack. You just cant draft forwards and expect to win.. you need defense and role players. Also think there is a big culture problem up there. Hall seemed to care but you didn't really see that out of Eberle, RNH or from Yak at all. It seems like a country club up there. With the "OIL Change" series it looked like the Canadian media simply expected them to morph into contender and they seriously crashed and burned. It wasn't until they switched GMs that things started to improve. Larsson is OK .. you would think with bait like Hall you would be able to do better but.. like you said position of weakness.

I think all the 7 year trades but Yandles are wrong. Defense especially offensive D have long lifespans, forwards especially big power guys like Lucic and Backes dont last. Almost guarantee they will be buying out 2-3 years off the back of that deal. Cant believe Shaw got a 6 year deal. 4m isnt bad but 6 years? Seems like the Canadian GMs are clueless. Only ones that seemed to do well were Calgary and Toronto. The rest either didn't do much or made bad deals.

Everything I've read about PK was he was a class act. It freed up mild cap room. He clearly pissed someone in Montreal off. They are also known to get rid of anyone they don't think does it the Montreal way.

other thing to remember was Weber's contract was heavily front loaded so there may be more cap/salary money advantage to taking it over PK's. That being said.. there had to be some bad blood or it just doesn't make sense.

Wow....a sexy woman who loves hockey...can it get much better ?? ;)

The Av's have definitely done a 180 in the last couple of years and seem to be building back up again....I'd love to see them come back to being consistently competitive again.
