She stoped taking the Aygestin, it was making her sick at the 10mg level.. and the doctor had said that if it does that she can stop using it.. so now she is just on darveset to help with the pain and she is reffusing to take it regularly also... "don't want to get addicted to it" is her Excuse... and she is BULL HEADED and STUBORN about it... so she wakes up screaming and crying in pain and then I basically have to shove the pills down her throat..

Thought about that too... but she only drinks Pop and ice tea that she makes... hard to get them in there with out her knowing and then she usually doesn't finish her pop.. and so it usually gets thrown out... so that takes care of that solution..

And you think you're the only one here who has ever been through the pain of someone you love hurting? Suffering? Dying? Having them at home instead of a hospice because that is where they want to die, even if it is more burden for the family? Been there, bought the ticket and saw the movie. Cheyenne I know you mean well and i do appriciate your help.. but You see the Wife is in a lot physical pain due to a desease that she and Mrs. Bahamet both have.. it is very painful and watch her go thru it is also very painfull too..

she is refusing to take her medication to help with the pain, so what can I do to help her take her prescribed medication that she is refusing to take.. because she is so terrified of becoming addicted to it..

I see it from her point of view but I have also talked to Nurses and Doctors about it also,and they have all said that she wouldn't become addicted to them if she uses them to hlep with the pain.. but she is not even using them for that..

YES I have thought to my self many atimes just to say FUCKIT and let her be in her pain and try to cut myself off from her tears and cries from the pain but... I'm not that cruel of a person and I can't do that.. so I force her to take her meds.. but if she would take them like she is supposed to she wouldn't be in so much pain..

and them maybe we could get a nights rest with out her sitting up and screaming about the pain for a few hours at a time..

I'm familiar with the disease, your wife has posted about it on the board. I'm sure it is painful. And I'm sure it just about kills you to see and hear her in pain. I remember that helpless feeling, watching someone I loved suffer. And die. I remember dragging myself to work after getting no sleep the night before. It wasn't fun, it was horrible. I never want to go through that again.

My "little mind" understands perfectly.

okkkk....i KNOW what endometriosis is...one of my half sisters HAD it...gave birth to a beautiful healthy boy once she was cured tho...and i know of another woman who was cured and had two wonderful children...i know it is extremely painful...BUT it IS curable...that much i do know....

Ummmmm... sorry to say this Bratcat but the only known cure for it is a complete historectomy.... or elde it can recure itself.. that is what it has done with NSW.. Now Getting pregnant can put it into recession and so can a Laparoscope (wich is what she is going in for again, hopefully soon)
