You just need the patience to see how it all relates. Contour Integrals in the complex plane (the integral over any simple, closed surface without discontinuities sums to zero) relates perfectly to transmigration of souls. All kidding aside (believe me, there was a joke buried in there), the big screw-up in college education is the compartmentalization of everything. Calculus has great beauty when you understand why continuity is important as opposed to the discrete mathematics of the Greeks (like Zeno's paradox)and how it influenced art and architecture. I doubt that Surrealism and Dadaism occur without the mathematical creativity of modern algebra of Galois and others. Every boundary that comes down for one science is an opportunity for all. You can take that logic into the paranoia of Hitler for non-Euclidean concepts and anti-surrealism. Free your mind and the rest will follow, to steal a phrase.
