at the time of writing hkbj had 6 threads on the first page to lavvys 3 , is it right to attack somebody for being a prolific thread starter when they themselves are not too far behind?
i wonder how others feel about it ?
post anonymously if you dont want to hurt anybodies feelings [except mine , cos i dont care what people think of me ]

Maybey this could be a match for the Wrestleotica PPV I am gonna try and start up in December in the RPG Channel or what ever it is called.

When Todd posted a zillion political cut & pastes a day, people complained. Now that BJ is posting a zillion inane monosyllabic threads a day, it is natural for people to complain. I mean, come on, a poll entitled "Poll." An entire thread devoted to soap v. body wash. And dozens of other one word titles that contain similar fluff.

Lavender's threads are on the first page because people are interested in the content. Same with the other four or so people with more than one thread on the first page. BJ, on the other hand, is here more out of sheer volume. He posts so many at a time that it takes time for all of them to drop out of sight.

What irks me is that BJ's version of Lit only exists in his own threads. I rarely see him anywhere else. I just would really like it if I could view the first page and find threads of substance without wading past a dozen of his threads every day.

Yes, I know that everyone has the right to post whatever they want. But a measure of restraint would be enormously appreciated. Lavender is not the only one that has commented to BJ about his posting behavior. I can think of half a dozen other regulars that I've seen do the same. And several of them start as many threads as Lavy. So are you going to start Them v. HKBJ threads as well, or are you airing a particular animosity towards lavender?

i have no animosity towards anybody on this board , i speak my mind and call things as i see them , regardless of who is doing the posting or what the subject is . i have noticed people on here taking sides not because of the subject nature but because they are "sticking up for a friend"
when todd posted his many extensive posts , i did not read them because i found many of the topics boring and irrelevant [before you go on i live over 3,500 miles away , i am not that interested in your countries internal politics to that extent]
is it now a crime to write in a monosyllabic way? he has already stated that he did not have the best education . not everybody on this board had the privilage of a college education. not everybody gets to be a lawyer or accountant . not everybody wants to be.
people all fight for the right for free speech until somebody with an opposing view exercises their right . does it really matter in the great scheme of things how many threads a person starts ?
furthermore ther have been comments about making criticisms of this nature a private affair , is there a need to make such an attack in public?
why not send a pm?
if a pm has been sent and ignored then it is easy to say so
if you dont like my comments then tough. flame away because i am going to bed and i will read them tomorrow
vive le revolution!

Personally, I was in HKBJ's situation not too long ago, so I know what it's like to have no where to turn to but a BB. Start as many threads as you want, man. Just, as I said, try to make them more interesting, and more people will respond to it. If their "inane," or you post out of pure boredom, just say that to begin with, and people will appreciate your humor. That said, I think EVERYONE on this board was just frusterated that he WANTS to find a life, but won't take people's advice.

BJ...

Let me ask you a question. What is it that you do for a living? I don't know if you've posted it or not, but I'm curious. If you don't feel comfortable posting it you could PM it.

Maybe we could give you some ideas of how to write up your resume and where to submit it. The odd jobs are helpful too.

Feel free to PM me if you don't want it on the board.

Feel free to not say anything if you don't feel comfortable sharing at all.

hkbj good luck on the job front , i hope all works out for you
lavender , i wasnt trying to get at you but to point out to hkbj that not everybody thought the way you did last night and that , there were people here that were on his side regarding this issue .
i hold no grudges or malice against you .
i hope this matter is now over
