New to the forum, and uncertain where an introductory thread should go...

I'm a member over at the Large Penis Support Group. I wrote a m/m themed story there that I discovered today might be here somewhere. But after searching the site, the forums, and Google, I don't see it.

Really just kinda curious if the story is in its same form, and what comments have been made about it. And if anybody can point me towards it after my frustrating search

Looking forward to spending some time here! My story is still in progress, and my first serious effort. Once I get some feedback here I'd like to submit it.

The only way your story could be here is if you have already submitted it.

The last I knew, there was still a bug in the sites search engine that prevented newer stories from showing up. If someone stole it, considering how recently you posted it on the other site, it might very well not show up in the local story search yet.

The same sort of issues arise with google. If it was stolen and posted here recently, then google might not have crawled it yet. That means you won't find it with google for a while, yet.

You might try going to the "New" list and scanning for any story in the gay male category, and then clicking to see if it looks familiar. That would at least let you find it from the last seven days.

Beyond that, I'd say you're stuck waiting until google indexes or it passes that barrier where it shows up in the Lit story search.

Keep in mind that a minimally cunning story thief will change names and such to hide their theft. They'd certainly eliminate "Bridgeport" and change the location since the original story has that in the title.

Your best bet is to find whoever said they saw it here and ask them if they can give you more specific pointers.

EDIT: I actually have this vague recollection of a title similar to that popping up recently when I was scanning the new list... maybe a couple of weeks ago or less? The word "Bridgeport" rang a bell in my head when I saw it here, so it may very well be hiding somewhere in the gay male category.

( it will certainly be there, because the moderators are pretty strict about most MM stories ending up there, even if they aren't categorized that way by the author )

There's no ploy.

To post stories, you have to be a member, and it is completely free.

Takes about a week to get a story posted and if you want comment, post a link here. We are critical, but we don't trash anyone.
