Hitting the Submit Button

My hats off to all you that have submitted material. Finally, after sitting on it for a year I submitted my first story. It's still in pending so this is not a plug. Just wanted to let you all know that as of today I finally understand how difficult it is to submit a story.

Pretty soon I will see if anyone enjoys it or not. Strange feeling to put it out in the open like that.

Welcome aboard...and congratulations!

I've only been writing and posting here since March. It can be a very fun and exciting experience, not to mention all the great and wonderful people you'll meet here.

When you get feedback on your stories, (and you will), appreciate the ones that enjoy what you've written. And THANK the one's that write you. That's one of the most important things to remember. Be considerate of those who took the time to write.

Secondly....you'll also get negative feedback. Sometimes its just plain nasty and mean. You'll get those. BUT....you will also get some honest, constructive critisism. Use it. And make sure you tell those folks thank you as well.

NOW.... If you really want to know what its like to stand before a firing squad, try submitting a story in the discussion circle.
