Historically-themed stories

Egyptian sounds good actually.

Yet, I also mentioned the French because during that era orgies amongst the aristocracy were infamous.
Anyways, if anyone's interested I suppose I can start up a story.
If you mean French Canadians I can believe that (sodomy was way of life), but anyone strictly French in that era wouldn't be able to do anything more than be in public naked, and even that had to be done secretly (prostitution in underground tunnels).

... Fast forward to the 1990's. No cars; they have car-like steamers. No jet travel; they have blimps. Trains are the main mode of travel. ... :D
There was a similar book published forty-odd years ago where the premise was that the Reformation never happened and the Church had kept a firm clamp on science (cf Galileo). They had steam traction engines (pulling multiple trailers) and steam cars as the main mode of transport with oil lamps in their homes. It was called "Pavane" by Keith Roberts.

Bedroom Antics.

Try my story Bedroom Antics set in 1851 in the north of England.

I liked the story, but I also liked the little descriptions under the chapter headings. I seem to recall reading a lot of books with that sort of thing when I was growing up, but I don't remember the title of any particular book that used that device.

Chapter One.
In which Mr Barnaby buys a duck, and Henrietta, the downstairs maid, is surprised by a man wearing a strange hat.

Was it a Victorian thing?

I'd like to see a book focused more on the Illuminati, but not like National Treasure or The de Vinci Code.

It would have a Hitleresque feel, using MK-Ultra techniques before MK-Ultra (a more realistic view of the real "Men In Black").

Why's that?
Although not so much anymore, Scots were a very raunchy people at one time.
Many of their gags and puns have centered around the phallus that they carry on a sash in battle (equivalent of lucky rabbit's foot).

I have the perfect story for you (non erotic).
Egypt has it's own real life vampire legend and is the true inspiration (or at least believed to be) for Bram Stoker's Dracula.

It actually combines two stories (succubus/siren).
Throughout history people have been searching for a youth formula, and one lady thought she found it.
By feeding cattle special grains and oats, she had them slaughtered each year for (wait for it) a blood bath.
She thought bathing in blood would keep her young, but that only gave her the appearance of youth temporarily.

A Duchess (who later overthrew the Queen's thrown) heard about this and decided that she was going about it all wrong.
The blood should be taken internally, not externally, and it should be human blood.
Thousands of men were put to death just to have blood cocktails each week.
It would be today's equivalent of collagen addiction.

Each time she had her blood cocktails, she took a gulp of green tea, and nibbled on white rice and soy products.
She wasn't too far off.
The chemicals in human blood make one look and feel younger, and green tea, white rice, and soy products promote longevity.

I suppose you could make this erotic.

Ok, I made a few mistakes there.
Elizabeth Báthory
She's called The Blood Countess, and she's from Hungary not Egypt (victims were young women), but there probably was someone who did that from Egypt.
I know they used to take coconut milk baths to gain a youthful look.

Snoopy is a good one to ask about the old days, he's old enough to remember when there was no air conditioning, moms did the laundry at the river and stuff like that. :D

bad Mona bad, it's always best to just let fantasies wander off into his corner and spout off to nobody.

Actually, this thread has given me a good idea for a story. A sort of "Gone with the Wind" parody about a southern belle with an insatiable sexual appetite. Having fucked her way across the breadth and width of the Confederacy, she can no longer be satisfied by the average southern gentleman. So she finds it necessary to take slaves from the cotton fields to bed.

All I need now is a good title. As the story will be semi-humorous, I need a somewhat ironic (and preferably pun-oriented) title. Any suggestions?........Carney

My idea was a story where a Union general and his staff takes over a massive Southern mansion occupied only by the lady of the house. They have a strategy meeting, and they catch the woman trying to spy on them, and they decide to mete out punishment in an unusual way. ;)

Or the Lady is the wife of a Confederate General and fears reprisals, so she hides herself among the servants. Her remaining servants are fiercely loyal and are happy to help her out. Unfortunately, being a pretty servant girl, she finds herself the victim of horny Union soldiers, and her body is used over and over again. She endures it and maybe even enjoys it, until she is spotted and recognised by a former slave who is now a Union soldier. She used to punish him regulalrly, but now it's time for pay-back...

I am talking about pre-revolutionary France, I think you got totally mixed up there. The aristocrats of that time were having sex parties almost every day, and other things few people talked about.

Anyways, I liked that other idea. Yet, I am looking to make an errotic story, so perhaps that one about that Hungarian countess isn't what I'm looking for. Still, I have plenty of idea's and from there I'll probably pick one and go with it. We'll see if enough people like it, group roleplays can be just as fun as one on one's.
